It has been awhile — as we quickly approach to close this year; I want to take this moment to thank several people.
First & foremost, I want to say “thank you” to God for allowing me to overcome the Cerebellum Stroke I had on February 6th, 2011. I want to thank my wife for standing by my side in this challenging year, to my kids for believing in my “don’t give up” spirit, and my family for cheering me on.
I want to thank Jules Ferguson for giving me the honor to write the foreword to his upcoming book, Claudia Baier for allowing me to be a guest speaker in her coaching session, & Pete (our mailman) for allowing God to use him to save my spiritual life from destruction.
This year I have lost a lot — at the same time I have been blessed to meet many wonderful people, and new wisdom & understanding in the Lord…
I have a special thanks to all the wonderful readers that have read this blog — please continue sharing, so that others may be blessed as you have been.
Thank you…and I will be back posting on January 3rd, 2012.
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving, a blessed Christmas, and a great New Years…
If you have ideas on what should be posted when I come back — please send me an email at firstname.lastname@example.org…
Hasta el ano nuevo…I want to leave you with this prayer:
Prayer of Saint Francis
Lord, make me an instrument of your peace.
Where there is hatred, let me sow love.
Where there is injury, pardon.
Where there is doubt, faith.
Where there is despair, hope.
Where there is darkness, light.
Where there is sadness, joy.
O Divine Master,
grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled, as to console;
to be understood, as to understand;
to be loved, as to love.
For it is in giving that we receive.
It is in pardoning that we are pardoned,
and it is in dying that we are born to Eternal Life.
